01 — What I collect
When you submit the contact form I collect the name, email address, and any optional details you choose to share (phone, company, budget, timeline, preferred start date and your message). I also record the IP address the submission came from so I can filter spam.
The site logs anonymous page views — the path visited, a device category (desktop or mobile), the referring page, and a hashed, non-reversible representation of your IP address. I do not use this to identify individuals.
02 — Why I collect it
- To reply to your enquiry and scope potential work.
- To keep a record of conversations, quotes and agreements.
- To understand which pages and case studies are useful, so I can improve them.
- To protect the site from spam and abuse.
I never sell your data, and I do not add you to a mailing list without an explicit opt-in.
03 — Cookies & analytics
This site sets a session cookie to protect forms against cross-site request forgery, and a remember-me cookie if you sign in to the admin area. Analytics are first-party and aggregated; no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies are used.
04 — How long I keep it
Enquiries are retained for up to 24 months so I can pick up a conversation where it left off, after which they are deleted. Anonymous page-view logs are retained for 12 months. Project correspondence is kept for as long as required by tax and contract law.
05 — Third parties
Email is handled by my email provider and the site is hosted on infrastructure that processes data on my behalf under standard data-processing terms. I share the minimum necessary, and only where a service is required to run the studio.
06 — Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the personal data I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. You can also object to processing or withdraw consent at any time. Requests are answered within 30 days.
07 — Contact
Email hello@mariana-design.com with the subject line “Data request” and I'll take it from there. If you are unhappy with the response you can complain to your local data-protection authority.
This policy may be updated as the studio's tools change. Material changes will be announced on this page with a new "last updated" date.
